Anyone and everyone stands something to gain by taking a class with Washington Improv Theater. Go ahead, take the plunge.

More testimonials: See how improv can help you at work and bring out your creativity.

A student raves: “Two and a half hours of laughter! You learn how to get silly with strangers and to grow strong ties of trust based around utter absurdity. No pressure, no mistakes, only happy accidents.”

WIT strongly encourages students and teachers to be up-to-date with Covid-19 vaccinations in an aim to keep all members of our community safe and healthy. Read more about our COVID policies.

Summer registration is closed, but fall classes will start soon! Express interest in this quick form and we’ll email you as soon as they’re live!

Improv for all: no matter who you are, you’ve got something to gain from taking Foundations of Improv.

Meet people, gain poise, build your confidence and explore your creativity by learning the fundamental concepts of improvisation. It’s the most fun you’ll have all week.

When registering for classes, make sure it fits with your schedule. It’s okay if you miss a class but not more than two. The showcase is also not required but trust us, you will be having so much fun you won’t want to miss any of it!

We also have an inclusion scholarship program!
