Improv Versus the Machine

Can a robot make you laugh? Watch as Washington Improv Theater presents a medley of performances including Beat the Bot and LOLgorithm—two original shows that pair human improvisers with artificial intelligence.

Every show in Improv Versus the Machine is different; be sure to check each night’s line-up individually. In addition to Beat the Bot and LOLgoritm, this performance series features performances by WIT’s company ensembles and special guests (who, to the best of our knowledge, are all 100% human).

WIT shows are perfect for a date night, out-of-towners visiting, or just something new and spontaneous to do. All for just $15.

For 25 years, Washington Improv Theater’s experienced teams of improv comedians have taken a simple suggestion or story from an audience member and turned it into a never-before-seen comedy show. And because every performance is based on an audience suggestion, that night’s show will never happen again! Our homegrown talent has gone on to SNL, The Daily Show, HBO’s Insecure and The White Lotus, and more!
