Summer Escape is the antidote to sticky, monotonous summers full of traffic, pit stains, and dodging tour groups. Washington Improv Theater has a line-up that’s hot in all the right ways.

Vox Pop
Vox Pop picks up where the spoken word leaves off. These three musical improvisers bring audiences to new heights where eagles cry on a mountain high. Where you have to say “I love you” in a song. Where regular improv simply won’t get the job done. Come see us explore the ins and outs of complex human relationships using the simple tool of music. Vox Pop will rock you.
Cast: Jaime Hazan, Jordan Hirsch, Karen Lange
The Hypothesis
Do you like it when two seemingly unrelated things are smashed together? Are you a fan of fusion, nuclear or cuisine? Then you will love The Hypothesis, a science improv team who brings their own scientist to every show. You’ll laugh, cry and maybe learn something along the way. And that’s not too bad of an outcome. Our hypothesis is that this will be a lot of fun. We just need you, the audience, to be our data points.
Cast: Joe Dawson, Ceci De Robertis, Tom Di Liberto, Nina Hsu, Margaret Lee, Jordana Mishory, Elijah Sloan
