The Lodge + King Bee + Season Six

WIT's shows at DC Arts Center are as hard to predict as the winter weather. Each performance by our company ensembles and special guests are spontaneous and exciting, but probably unlikely to close the federal government.

WIT ensemble Season Six are all originally from the past. Bees have no specific agenda towards them. They do not make duck noises when afraid, though they might not tell you if they did. Season Six cannot exceed the speed of smell. Most of the group are descended from a long line of other people.

Once a Harold team at Washington Improv Theater, King Bee’s energy and memorable characters earned them a spot as a one of the theater’s company ensembles. In addition to performing the “pretty flower” format, the Bees most recently devised the improvised soap opera The Stingers and the Stung.

The Lodge, DC’s longest-running independent troupe is also a secret brotherhood.

These shows are presented at DC Arts Center in the heart of Adams Morgan.

Please note: Early shows in Wintry Mix begin at 7:30 PM. Washington Improv Theater strives to ensure its shows are accessible to all audiences at our home stage at Source. However, our guest venue DC Arts Center is not accessible to wheelchair users and may be challenging to patrons with limited mobility. If you have accessibility questions, please email us at wit@witdc.org.
