Washington Improv TheaterKrystal Ramseur had her first experience in theatre as Beatrice in her high school’s one act performance of Much Ado About Nothing.
Krystal has completed the curriculum at Washington Improv Theater. She can be found performing with WIT ensembles Hellcat, Lena Dunham and Poetic Resistance and indie team Cerise. Krystal does appearances with Puss and Kooch and is one of the co-hosts of the Comedic Pursuits Podcast.
When not doing improv or pondering about the crazy world we live in, Krystal can be found binging a new Netflix television show. Have you seen Dead To Me?!
Krystal Ramseur is the Director of Finance & Operations at Academy of Hope Adult Public Charter School, whose mission is to provide high quality education and services that change lives and improves communities.
In this role, Krystal contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices. Krystal is also responsible for analyzing the current technology infrastructure and scopes out the next level of information technology.
As the daughter of a retired Air Force Master Sergeant, Krystal has lived throughout the United States and abroad, but claims Maiden, North Carolina as her hometown. She has a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in public policy and management from Bowie State University and a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Krystal had her first WIT experience in September 2015 with a level one class and completed the WIT program in March 2017. Krystal was so impressed with the creativity, passion and commitment of the WIT community that she had to become more involved.
