Arie Rich

All you have to do is want something and let yourself have it!

Arie’s joy in being part of the WIT community is palpable. You can palp it! It all started when she was a scrappy theatre student at Duke Ellington School of the Arts, back in the iPod era. She has since studied and played with improv students at The Second City (Chicago) and The Washington Improv Theater. Being a member of WIT’s community of players is not just a pleasure; it’s a source of happiness and fulfillment for her!

Arie believes improv is a great way to connect with people at the heart. Improv has a contagious joy; she will spread it to all who cross her path. Get you some! Arie joined WIT company ensemble Nox! in the fall of 2024 and also plays on indie improv teams Petunia, Small Mediums at Large, and i blame tyler perry, with whom she performed at a sold-out performance of The Cookout: A Celebration of Black Improv in the DMV in July 2024. She was also a member of the cast of Tumbleweed!, a totally improvised Western staged by WIT in 2023.
