Amanda Hahn is an improviser, sketch writer, and performer from Texas. She started doing improv in college when she joined a troupe, Freudian Slip, because she thought it was a psychology club.
Amanda began her improv life in 2008, when she joined a troupe at Texas A&M University. She moved to Dallas, TX, and completed the improv and sketch curricula at the Dallas Comedy House and was on numerous long- and short-form improv troupes and sketch shows as a writer and performer. She was also a member of Quest in Show, an improvised RPG-inspired show at Stomping Ground Comedy Theater in Dallas. She joined WIT in 2019 after moving to the Washington D.C. area.
Amanda got her PhD in Cognition and Neuroscience and currently evaluates face recognition accuracy in people and algorithms. Paul Feig once retweeted her, but she still only got 3 faves.
