A Very Improv Holiday

WIT shows are perfect for a date night, an evening downtown with guests, or a fun experience on your own! Plus, we’re located along the bustling 14th St. NW corridor, which offers plenty of choices for places to grab a drink or a bite to eat before or after the show!
For more than 25 years, Washington Improv Theater’s improv comedians have taken a simple suggestion or story from a (volunteer) audience member and turned it into a never-before-seen comedy show.
WIT’s performers are so talented that most first-time audience members find it impossible to believe that everything is totally made up on-the-spot! (Trust us, it is!) No two shows are ever the same so you can keep coming back for more…
WIT’s alumni have gone on to SNL, The Daily Show, HBO’s Insecure, and The White Lotus to name just a few comedy destinations.
