Summer Escape is the antidote to sticky, monotonous summers full of traffic, pit stains, and dodging tour groups. Washington Improv Theater has a line-up that’s hot in all the right ways.

Please and Thank You
Leave the theater pleased and thankful after seeing Please and Thank You take the stage. One audience suggestion will start two improvisors on a path as the rest of the cast grows the world around them, like a single seed growing into a pretty flower.

Company Blood Drive
The 9-person Company Blood Drive Improv Group is proof that the best improv troupes can also field a full soccer team. Anything for each other; anything for the company.

Blood Pact
First there was Golden Girls. Then Living Single. Then Sex and the City. Now there’s: Generic Four Female Friendship Group (GFFFG). (Unlike SATC, we probably won’t make you look back and cringe!).

Fade to Black
Fade To Black presents the next Hollywood blockbuster: You! FTB will interview one audience member and then create a BIG budget movie based on his or her life. Expect all the explosions, camera angles and emotions one would expect in a film.
