I Heart DC
I Heart DC is a tribute to honorary Artistic Director-for-a-Day Christopher Farrar.  When discussing what he would most love to see reflected on the stage, Chris said he loves bold fun characters and that he’d love a show that celebrates DC with love. So we’ve assembled a mash-up cast of players from across WIT’s ensemble family to make Chris’s dream come true in this once-in-a-lifetime performance. (Artistic Director for a Day is a title Chris won by being the highest bidder on this honor in the Silent Auction at last year’s “This is How We Do WIT” fundraiser.)

Cast:  Ryan Campbell, Mark Chalfant, Geoff Corey, Madeline Dozier, Melissa Gedney, Precious Jenkins, Eva Lewis, Jordana Mishory, Bryce Slinger  [Additional players to be confirmed]

Kinfolk
Kinfolk are the winners of the 2024 Fighting Improv Smackdown Tournament.
Cast: Krystal Ali, Samiyyah Ali, Kendall Hollimon, Jamal Newman

iMusical
iMusical joins the unpredictable playfulness of comedic improvisation with the emotional power of musical theater. A cast of singer-improvisers instantly creates a compelling new show with each performance, comprised of completely improvised scenes, lyrics and music, all inspired by a single audience suggestion.
Cast: Adrianne Thomas, Anna Claire Walker, Beth Lyons, Cassie Barnum, Elaine Tinkelman, Geoff Corey, Mark Chalfant, Matt Berman, Ryan Campbell, Simone Webster, Travis Charles Ploeger, Michael O’Connor

Kinfolk
Meet Kinfolk

Grand rising beloved. Your skinfolk ain’t always your kinfolk, but this time we got lucky. Kinfolk rests at the nexus of when “you people” become “your people.” A mason-dixon line of interpersonal connection, but also not that at all. Read More
