Bronze Medal + I Wrote That + Hellcat

Say goodbye to the heat, the grind, and the headlines. Say hello to a night of laughter with WIT.

Bronze Medal

You can’t wait for LA 2028? You’re in luck, because you can watch WIT’s coverage of Bronze Medal as they explore the thrills of an everyday activity like potato peeling that is definitely going to be an up and coming Olympic sport with behind the scenes coverage of the competitors, coaches, and fans!

Cast: Bill Nelson, Caitlin Brady, Eli Okun, JoJo Franzen

I Wrote That

In this show, some of DC’s best improvisers will read pieces by their younger angsty selves, before using these poems, songs, and diary entries as inspiration for scenes. Think The Moth meets SNL meets that relief of being old enough to laugh at your younger emotional selves.

Cast: John Carroll, Jamal Newman, Erick Acuña and Macey Schif

Hellcat

We start with normal stories and then everything gets weirdly connected. It’s like watching a giant, hilarious flower grow right in front of your face.

Cast: Aubrey Peterson, Clare Mulligan, Devin Hiett, Kaelan Fleury, Krystal Ali, Liz Hoke, Lori Pitts, Melissa Gedney, Sarah Baldwin, Simonica Mendes, and Steph Lilly

ABOUT WIT

WIT shows are perfect for a date night, out-of-towners visiting, or just something new and spontaneous to do. All for just $20.

For 28 years, Washington Improv Theater’s experienced teams of improv comedians have taken a simple suggestion or story from an audience member and turned it into a never-before-seen comedy show. And because every performance is based on an audience suggestion, that night’s show will never happen again! Our homegrown talent has gone on to SNL, The Daily Show, HBO’s Insecure and The White Lotus, and more!

Accessible pricing: For those who experience cost as a barrier, a limited number of affordable pricing tickets are available using the code AFFORDABLE at check-out.

Go to our Plan Your Visit page to learn about WIT shows and view our health and accessibility policies.

WIT may have still or video photography at its events. Entry to the event serves as consent to be filmed for WIT’s promotional purposes only.
