Bad Tummy
Bad tummy seeks out the weird in the mundane building intricate characters and story lines often influenced by their early 2000s references.
Cast: Adam Landa, Natalie Marquez, Rachel Margolis, Rohan Narayanan, Rose Buchbinder
That’s So You
“That’s sooo you!” You exclaim excitedly to a friend twirling and showing off their new favorite dress. (It has pockets!) “That’s so… you.” You sneer at your work nemesis as they brag about a report where you did most of the work. (Your work spouse agrees, the comment was devastating) “THAT is so you!” You playfully argue with your partner when they try to deny their obvious resemblance to a meme with a puppy in it. (The puppy is hella cute and so are they.) With a heavy dose of theatrical flair, That’s So You will use audience suggestions to tell an amusing and entertaining story in 25 minutes that will keep you laughing along.
Cast: Chris Lewitzke, David Shadburn, Jason Re, Katie Munn, Lauren Gabel, Mark Benjamin, Steve Karig
LIZARD GIRL
Formed in May 2016, LIZARD GIRL is a troupe tracing its roots back to the golden age of Obama-era Harold teams at WIT. Now performing as an ensemble, the group strives to create sharp comedic shows by inviting you into their quirky world. LIZARD GIRL asks the audience for a location and from there invites you to get to know the characters in this location by building a backstory for these characters and this world through various flashbacks. Much of the group’s success can be attributed to their shared love of collaborative creation and subverting expectations. LIZARD GIRL is also the only known team in DC to have bombed in front of award-winning author Jonathan Safran Foer.
Cast: Bryce Slinger, David Brescia-Weiler, Jared Smith, Jessica Norman, John Carroll, Krystal Ali, Liz Sanders, Mikey Blunschi, Patrick Fleury, Samiyyah Ali
