Stephanie Hamilton
Washington Improv TheaterStephanie comes to WIT with several years' experience in production and volunteer management.
She spent nearly a decade traveling with regional production companies, working in a variety of roles – from Sound Technician and Lighting Designer to Production Manager – and in venues ranging from 15,000-seat sports arenas to 50-seat black-box theaters. She eventually transitioned from Production to Event Coordination, and was then responsible for recruiting, training and managing volunteers. Two of her favorite annual events were an AIDS Walk that required 150 volunteers working in nearly a dozen different roles, and a multi-week warming center for the homeless that was staffed solely by volunteers.
Stephanie started volunteering with WIT in 2013, and very quickly came to love and appreciate the art of improv. She is excited to use her skills and experience to help WIT grow, and help strengthen and build its volunteer base.
