Washington Improv TheaterPrecious Jenkins has been performing since the moment she came out of the womb. Yes, there's a birth story to confirm this.
After college, Precious reignited her love for performing by appearing in Theater Lab’s production of Les Misérables. She has since found a creative home with improv comedy. She completed the WIT curriculum and has been performing since she was a level one student. She currently performs with WIT ensemble Madeline and indie fave Baggage Claim. She previously performed with beloved indie teams I Don’t Know Her and improvgurl94.
Precious is a native Washingtonian, music lover, and fan of all things Bravo.
Precious is a multi-faceted operations guru, currently coordinating day-to-day functions at the DC Public Library.
Precious has over ten years of operations experience in the nonprofit, education, and private sectors. She enjoys coordinating logistics, writing policy, and enhancing operational efficiency. Precious is a native Washingtonian and she earned a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature with a minor in Afroamerican and African studies from The University of Michigan.
Precious is passionate about community building, cultural competency, and championing the arts. She found a creative home at WIT in 2019 when she started classes and competed in the Fighting Improv Smackdown Tournament (FIST) with her first team I Don’t Know Her. She currently performs with WIT company ensemble Madeline and indie favorite Baggage Claim. Outside of work and improv, Precious enjoys attending concerts, eating her way around DC, and watching all things Bravo.
