Pierce Stoneburner
Production Manager
Washington Improv TheaterPierce Stoneburner joined WIT as Production Manager in October 2023. He is also a professional lighting designer and electrician.
Originally from Houston, TX, Pierce graduated from Southwestern University in 2020. He moved to DC in 2021 to work as the Assistant Master Electrician at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas, VA. From there, he became the Master Electrician & Lighting Designer at Prince George’s Community College Center for Performing Arts. He has also regularly worked as an electrician and designer for various DC theater and dance venues.
Before coming to DC, Pierce worked as an electrician for multiple summerstocks at the Virginia Theatre Festival in Charlottesville, VA and the Maine State Music Theatre in Brunswick, ME. Additionally during his time at Southwestern University he designed and stage managed several shows. He also worked at several venues in the Austin area. Pierce is very excited to join WIT as Production Manager. Since it’s a part-time role, he is continuing to do lighting design in the DC area, including with “American Girl Live in Concert!”
