Matt Winterhalter
(he/him)
Washington Improv TheaterIn 2008, Matt triumphantly returned to the stage ending his retirement after a star turn as "unnamed bar patron" in his high school's production of Fiddler on the Roof. The long national nightmare is over.
He began his improv journey in 2008 when he enrolled in classes at WIT, DC Improv, and Theatre Lab. Since then he has completed WIT’s curriculum and supplemented his training with classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade Training Center. Matt has performed as a member of WIT Harold Teams Private Elevator, Capybara, Safavi, and King Bee. He is grateful to perform with the talented and supportive members of Nox! and to be a part of DC’s improv community.
Matt’s strengths include navigating DC’s bus system and emptying the dishwasher. His weaknesses include reading comments under online news articles and Limited Batch Ben & Jerry’s flavors.
