WIT Selected as One of Region’s Best Nonprofits

Washington Improv Theater is honored to announce its selection as one of the region’s best community-based nonprofit organizations. WIT will appear as one of 78 area organizations in the print edition of 2014/15 Greater Washington Catalogue for Philanthropy.

Because of this honor, 25,000 individuals and foundations will see WIT’s name and learn about our mission to advance longform improv through education and performances. Since it started, the Catalogue has brought $24 million to amazing organizations featured throughout the years.

WIT is thrilled to be recognized as a high-impact arts organization. Our work to unleash the creative power of improv in DC is made possible through contributions from our dedicated community of students, performers, donors, operatives, teachers and board members.

We look forward to seeing our name in print and sharing the good work done by our growing community.
