WIT’s accomplishments for FY22 include:

  • Producing 189 performances, including the return of the Fighting Improv Smackdown Tournament, y(Our) Town, and the return of Harold Night.
  • Spreading levity and laughter through free Improv for All workshops in all eight wards of the District.
  • Launching adult classes at Project Create through a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
  • Finishing our collaboration with Young Playwrights’ Theater’s AROW program (Abolishing Racism and Oppression in the Workplace) to conduct an assessment of WIT’s policies and practices, which will guide us in becoming a more inclusive, accessible, and anti-racist organization.

As WIT works to get back to get full strength, now is the perfect time to become a monthly donor to WIT. Will you join us?
