Washington Improv Theater is the District’s premier destination for great longform improvisation.
WIT delivers dynamic, innovative and unpredictable shows presented by the most experienced and talented performers in the city. Over 11,000 audience members come to our shows each year for unscripted shows that will only be seen once. Whether they take place on WIT’s home stage at Source or in venues like DC Arts Center, Takoma Park Auditorium, Studio 1469, or Anacostia Arts Center, every WIT show features a dynamic performance from one of our company ensembles and Harold teams. Our performers have gone on to work for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Saturday Night Live. Expect fun and energetic shows. Expect smart improvisers to take the stage. Expect the unexpected.
