The Fourth Estate takes you behind the scenes of the news you know and love (and love to hate, and sometimes hate to know). Every night we explore a totally improvised story from the perspective of different news media formats: local and national television, newspapers, blogs, podcasts, talk radio, social media, and more.

We tell the story not only of the news—how it’s captured, reported, distorted, and consumed—but of the people on the front lines of the battle for journalistic integrity, the truth, and the perfect clickbait headline.

The cast of The Fourth Estate features improvisers who are also employees of media outlets like The Washington Post and FOX News as well as a cable news contributor.
