The Line-up
Your Favorite Cookie
Your Favorite Cookies transports you to the dark and erotic world of a Hollywood crime drama. We meet the innocent (and not so innocent) characters of this delinquent world in three opening scenes and watch their destinies intertwine in the most strange and tragic ways.
Cast: Brent Buxton, James Crisafulli, Abby Haverty, Cassie Hoffman, Kendall Hollimon, Caroline Kelly, Svend Larsen, Ryan Knight, Beatrice Leydier, Jackson Smith, Gabby Villegas
I Wrote That Presents: Teen Angst
Heartbreak. Betrayal. Backstabbing best friends. As angsty teenagers, these improvisers experienced ALL THESE EMOTIONS first hand. And then — like all angsty teens — journaled their emotional guts out, never to see the light of day again. Until now. In this show, some of DC’s best improvisers will read pieces by their younger angsty selves, before using these poems, songs, and diary entries as inspiration for scenes. Think The Moth meets SNL meets that relief of being old enough to laugh at our younger emotional selves.
Cast: TBD.
A Very Special Madeline
Step into a nostalgic portal with Madeline as they transport you back to the golden era of After School Specials! On this week’s episode witness: angst, friendship, betrayal, familial drama, the dangers of smoking, your body developing and other life lessons brought to life onstage in the style of an After School Special
Cast: Stacey Axler, Robin Doody Lauren Emily, Precious Jenkins, Adam Levine, Nick Martinez, Ryan McClure, Macey Schiff, Matt Strote, Eddison Wilkinson
