The first-all Black team to win WIT’s Fighting Improv Smackdown Tournament (in 2026), YOU BETTER CALL TYRONE was also the first musical improv team to win the coveted FIST trophy. “The Tyrone” — a long-form style format where every scene is punctuated by a spontaneous, a cappella musical improv interlude, keeps the energy unpredictable and the laughs coming fast. This four-person all-Black ensemble bring a rare blend of sharp improv instincts, big characters, and genuine musical chops that will have audiences singing along.

Our diverse team of improvisers and singers invites you onstage to share the story of your relationship! In a tribute to Rob Reiner’s “When Harry Met Sally …” our cast transforms your story into an epic theatrical journey full of hope, intrigue, challenge, and comedy that celebrates who you’ve become together.
