The Hypothesis + Madeline + Uncle Gorgeous

Need an antidote to grim headlines? WIT will give you a jolt of optimism while delivering laughs from our talented ensembles.

ABOUT WIT

WIT shows are perfect for a date night, out-of-town visitors, or simply something new and spontaneous to do. All for just $20.

For more than 25 years, our hilarious, experienced improvisers have taken a simple suggestion or story from an audience member and turned it into never-before-seen comedy. And because every performance is made-up on-the-spot, no two shows are ever the same, so you can keep coming back for more! Our homegrown talent has gone on to “SNL,” “The Daily Show,” HBO’s “Insecure” and “The White Lotus,” Hulu’s “How to Die Alone,” and more!

ABOUT WIT ENSEMBLE THE HYPOTHESIS

The Hypothesis combines science and improv to both inform and delight audiences. They start each show with an audience member asking the performers a question (ex: How does memory work? Why is the sky blue? What happens in a black hole? Can you terraform Mars?), who then attempt to answer it. The team exclusively consists of scientists and science enthusiasts with diverse science backgrounds — ranging from neuroscience to ecology, from climatology to psychology, and everything in between.

Cast: Bethany Stokes, Ceci De Robertis, Goli Samimi, Henry Ring, Jordana Mishory, Nic Small, Nina Hsu, Slli’m Williams, Tom Di Liberto

ABOUT WIT ENSEMBLE MADELINE

Madeline gives nervy, flirty, and worthy onstage and off. Madeline transformed from a bouncing WIT Harold team to an overly-eager, collectively smitten, house ensemble at WIT. Madeline’s performances are filled with the manic-moxie of a first date, the flirtiness of a spontaneous 1:1 with your work crush, and the worthiness of a life filled with adventure and love. Whether you’re looking for naughty, nice, or niche, you’ll be spellbound by their shows—which have been called “fun,” “hilarious,” “a tad raunchy for my taste,” and “completely inappropriate for people who aren’t fun.”

Cast: Adam Levine, Chizo Nwagwu, Dan O’Neil, Danielle Steger, Eddison Wilkinson, Jack Lewis, Kevin Eggleston, Lauren Emily, Macey Schiff, Matt Strote, Nick Martinez, Precious Jenkins, Ryan McLure, and Stacey Axler

ABOUT WIT ENSEMBLE UNCLE GORGEOUS

Uncle Gorgeous will make you “forget the obvious and embrace the absurd.”

Cast: Jamal Newman, Jessie Cali, Jordana Mishory, Kelsey Peters, Kristina Martinez, Madeline Dozier, Mikail Faalasli, Rae Lang, Ryan McCloskey, Samiyyah Ali, and Tom Di Liberto
