The Hypothesis

This ensemble is made up of scientists and science enthusiasts with diverse science backgrounds, ranging from neuroscience to ecology, and from climatology to psychology. They give audience members the chance to pose a question to them. For example: How does memory work? Why is the sky blue? What happens in a black hole?

These talented improvisers then attempt to answer it based on their individual and collective understanding of the mysteries of science. They also invite special guests from time-to-time to talk about their areas of expertise. So, come prepared with that burning science question you’ve always wanted to have answered. Then get ready to have your mind blown and your funny bone tickled as the Hypothesis takes you on a scientific comedy journey.

Madeline’s performances possess the electric energy of a campaign rally, the charm of a candid conversation with a trusted advisor, and the conviction of a leader driven by a vision of progress and unity. With the very real presidential election in full swing, Madeline’s made-up on-the-spot characters provide a welcome escape from reality with their laugh out loud comedy!

Uncle Gorgeous

Join Uncle Gorgeous for an amusing improv show that’s all about making cherished memories come alive! We’ll ask an audience member for a fond memory involving a loved one, then delve into a brief interview to capture the essence of that special time. From there, get ready for a 25-minute silly supercut of the highs, lows, hilarity, beauty, and, of course, the mixed-up craziness that comes with existing in today’s world. The performers will feel like your favorite fun uncles when they improvise a feel-good comedy based on your heartwarming recollection, ensuring a night of laughter, nostalgia, and unscripted fun.
