The Cookout is WIT’s first-ever celebration of black improv in the DMV area. Curated by featured ensemble Lena Dunham, the show features homegrown WIT talent including the debut performances of two new teams who feature all-Black casts.

For all shows, unclaimed tickets may be resold at curtain time. Late arrivals will be seated at WIT’s discretion.

Standing Room patrons will be seated for the show after general admission patrons. Standing Room ticketholders may take any unclaimed seats once admitted into the theater, but should be prepared to sit on the floorin front of the first row of chairs (directly on stage). Ushers will help you find your seat.

Accessibility information

  • The black box theater at Source is ground-floor and wheelchair accessible. WIT can set aside wheelchair space upon request, with no need for the patron to reserve a specific seat.
