ABOUT WIT
WIT shows are perfect for a date night, out-of-town visitors, or simply something new and spontaneous to do. All for just $20.
For more than 25 years, our hilarious, experienced improvisers have taken a simple suggestion or story from an audience member and turned it into never-before-seen comedy. And because every performance is made-up on-the-spot, no two shows are ever the same, so you can keep coming back for more! Our homegrown talent has gone on to “SNL,” “The Daily Show,” HBO’s “Insecure” and “The White Lotus,” Hulu’s “How to Die Alone,” and more!
ABOUT ASK ME ANYTHING
From fearless advocates to visionary leaders, join us as we shine our spotlight on a series of noteworthy and inspiring individuals, who are making a difference in the DC area and beyond. Each guest will share stories and insights through a candid Q&A session. From there, a cast of improv comedians will use that material as inspiration for their performance.
Why doom-scroll when you can get out of the house (and out of your head) with a night of hope, community, and comedy?
ABOUT ROBYN LINGO
Robyn Lingo is the executive director of 826DC, a nonprofit arts education organization that helps DC students build their writing skills, share what matters to them, and forge a lifelong relationship with writing. With more than 15 years of executive leadership in nonprofit management, Lingo has developed programming and collaborative partnerships that provide authentic spaces for youth to investigate, affect, and change the world around them. Lingo joins 826DC from Mikva Challenge. As Chief of Strategy and Impact, she guided the organization’s two chapter sites, in DC and Illinois, to embed youth voice and civic leadership throughout the city and state. Prior to this role, Lingo was the founding Executive Director for Mikva Challenge DC, growing the initial pilot program to a citywide organization serving more than 1,200 young people.
