Get Tickets Now!Say goodbye to the heat, the grind, and the headlines. Say hello to a night of laughter with WIT, while you help us celebrate Pride and mark the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with a special edition of QVC, looking back on two and a half centuries of hidden queer history!
Join us after the Pride parade on June 20 at 8 PM for a very special edition of the Queer Variety Cavalcade (QVC), WIT’s celebration of LGBTQ+ comedy and culture.
To mark the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, QVC: Birdie and Butchie Do America! will take a fast, filthy romp through two and a half centuries of hidden queer history and local DC Pride.
History is a Queer Story
That’s because America’s past is PACKED with flamboyant war generals, egregiously gay presidents, and gender-bending pioneers of drag, blues, and the Very First Beautiful Friend!
QVC’s Co-Creators and Co-Hosts Kevin Eggleston (a.k.a. “Birdie”) and Bill Nelson (a.k.a. “Butchie”) will soon be announcing a fabulous all-star guest lineup for the show, so watch this space! You can also expect to see hilarious improv by the QVC Players.
Please note that QVC is intended for audiences 18 and up.
