The Queer Variety Cavalcade Presents the Meaning of Queermas!

Join the Queer Variety Cavalcade for a Peanuts™-inspired celebration of LGBTQ+ Comedy and Culture on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 8PM.

WIT is DC’s top spot for hilarious improv comedy. Our company ensembles — featuring the fastest and funniest minds in the region — are ready to take your silliest suggestions and transform them into jaw-droppingly hilarious scenes that are entirely made up on the spot.

The Queer Variety Cavalcade (QVC)

Queermas is coming but no one at QVC is merry — Butchie’s little tree keeps *wilting* despite *everyone’s* best efforts and Birdie’s “security” blanket smells like Woodstock ‘99. It seems no one remembers the true meaning of Queermas — and the QVC gang is going nuts! Join them for a Peanuts™-inspired celebration of LGBTQ+ Comedy and Culture on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 8PM.

Their winter edition will feature special guests, improv by The QVC Players, and an homage to the animated classic “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” (For audiences 18+).

Co-hosts: Bill Nelson as Butchie and Kevin Eggleston as Birdie

The QVC Players: Amber Bellsdale, Carlic Huynh, Daniel Berrera, Diego Hernandez, Lisa Schreihart, Madison Schneider, Renan Snowden, Rose Buchbinder, and MORE.

Special guests: Birdie will be interviewing Artist Anthony Le, the self-styled “Ant Honey, Performance Artist” and we’ll be welcoming the return of Jessi Pascal (a.k.a Shoujo-A-Go-Go) — an artist inspired by anime and comics, who describes herself as “a living cartoon.” She’s also an improv actress and illustrator who translates her “colorful chaos” into drag. Last, burlesque artist Coco Gateaux will do a sexy and glamorous Queermas-themed performance that’s rated M for Mature Audiences only.
