Queensberg + Kinfolk + The Hypothesis

Need an antidote to grim headlines? WIT will give you a jolt of optimism while delivering laughs from our talented ensembles.

ABOUT WIT

WIT shows are perfect for a date night, out-of-town visitors, or simply something new and spontaneous to do. All for just $20.

For more than 25 years, our hilarious, experienced improvisers have taken a simple suggestion or story from an audience member and turned it into never-before-seen comedy. And because every performance is made-up on-the-spot, no two shows are ever the same, so you can keep coming back for more! Our homegrown talent has gone on to “SNL,” “The Daily Show,” HBO’s “Insecure” and “The White Lotus,” Hulu’s “How to Die Alone,” and more!

ABOUT QUEENSBERG

Queensberg is a place full of peaks, valleys, and only the best of vibes. You never know what you’re going to get at a Queensberg show, but why would you get bogged down with expectations when you could be rattled by the unexpected?

Cast: Adina Lasser, Avalon Warner-Gonzales, Betsy Milarcik, Chris Clark, Genevieve Dabrowski, Kacie Peterson, Matthew Schwartz, Meaghan Griffith, Michael Williamson, and Sam Jackson

ABOUT FIST ‘24 WINNERS KINFOLK

Grand rising beloved. Your skinfolk ain’t always your kinfolk, but this time we got lucky. Kinfolk rests at the nexus of when “you people” become “your people.” A mason-dixon line of interpersonal connection, but also not that at all. Are you excited to see your sister-cousin at this year’s family reunion? Who made this mac and cheese? Does your friend-group make you question your/their sanity, but you kinda love it? Why can’t your teammates stay out of drama? Nobody knows your people like you do, except maybe Kinfolk. These 2024 FIST champions ask the audience to share about the folks they belong to, then bring them to life on stage for your enjoyment.

Cast: Jamal Newman, Kendall Hollimon, Krystal Ali, and Samiyyah Ali

ABOUT WIT ENSEMBLE THE HYPOTHESIS

The Hypothesis combines science and improv to both inform and delight audiences. They start each show with an audience member asking the performers a question (ex: How does memory work? Why is the sky blue? What happens in a black hole? Can you terraform Mars?), who then attempt to answer it. The team exclusively consists of scientists and science enthusiasts with diverse science backgrounds — ranging from neuroscience to ecology, from climatology to psychology, and everything in between.

Cast: Bethany Stokes, Ceci De Robertis, Goli Samimi, Henry Ring, Jordana Mishory, Nic Small, Nina Hsu, Slli’m Williams, and Tom Di Liberto
