Queensberg + Commonwealth + The Broken Bones

Say goodbye to the heat, the grind, and the headlines. Say hello to a night of laughter with WIT.

Queensberg

Queensberg gets awfully hot during the summer. If you come visit, don’t worry, we’ll have ice cold drinks and air conditioning at the ready. You can chill, and we’ll do a show for you. How does that sound?

Cast: Adina Lasser, Avalon Warner-Gonzalez, Betsy Milarcik, Chris Clark, Genevieve Dabrowski, Kacie Peterson, Mason Heilman, Matthew Schwartz, Meaghan Griffith, Michael Williamson, Paul Detrick, Sam Jackson

Commonwealth

Commonwealth brings you Hot Takes on Summer Days! Join us as we dive into your sunniest memories, transforming your favorite summer tales into a whirlwind of hilarious scenes. Camp adventures? First crushes? Summer school blues? Every show is told by you – performed by us. Always hot, never humid.

Cast: Catherine Deadman, Denny Johnson, Jamie Lantinen, Jules Duffy, Ryan Krull, Steward Walsh

The Broken Bones

The Broken Bones presents ‘Injury Into Comedy’. We’ve all been hurt, perhaps by a hidden patch of ice, a sick collision while scoring the winning goal, or a very public breakup at your 28th birthday party. The Broken Bones will interview an audience member about an injury—be it physical, emotional, or other—and we will all heal together through comedy. The cast has some of DC’s funniest improvisers who have been featured by Comedy Central, The Washington Post, NPR, as well as comedy festivals around the US and Europe.

Cast: Darnell Eaton, Erick Acuña, Eva Lewis, Geoff Corey, Kristina Martinez, Kelsey Peters, Neil Baron

ABOUT WIT

WIT shows are perfect for a date night, out-of-towners visiting, or just something new and spontaneous to do. All for just $20.

For 28 years, Washington Improv Theater’s experienced teams of improv comedians have taken a simple suggestion or story from an audience member and turned it into a never-before-seen comedy show. And because every performance is based on an audience suggestion, that night’s show will never happen again! Our homegrown talent has gone on to SNL, The Daily Show, HBO’s Insecure and The White Lotus, and more!

Accessible pricing: For those who experience cost as a barrier, a limited number of affordable pricing tickets are available using the code AFFORDABLE at check-out.

Go to our Plan Your Visit page to learn about WIT shows and view our health and accessibility policies.
