Forged in the adversity of competition, the 2024 Fighting Improv Smackdown Tournament champions have become “forever family” to each other. This incredibly funny, all-Black group asks an audience member to share a little bit about the folks they “belong to” and then brings them to life through improvisation.

Uncle Gorgeous

Join Uncle Gorgeous for an amusing improv show that’s all about making cherished memories come alive! We’ll ask an audience member for a fond memory involving a loved one, then delve into a brief interview to capture the essence of that special time. From there, get ready for a 25-minute silly supercut of the highs, lows, hilarity, beauty, and, of course, the mixed-up craziness that comes with existing in today’s world. The performers will feel like your favorite fun uncles when they improvise a feel-good comedy based on your heartwarming recollection, ensuring a night of laughter, nostalgia, and unscripted fun.

LIZARD GIRL

This company ensemble invites an audience member to make up an imaginary book title, and their talented improvisers bring it to life! The lines between life and literature blur as they delve into the interpersonal dramas that are requisite for any good book club and discuss their favorite elements of a book they’ve never read!
