Doorplay + That’s So You + Mission Critical

Let DC’s funniest improvisers give you a break from reality with their smart, surprising, and totally unscripted comedy!

Doorplay

This troupe is a WIT Harold team that likes to ask, “What will it be? Door #1, #2, or #3?” Whatever you choose, buckle up and get ready for a funky good time with this hilarious group, who will invite you in and make you never want to leave!

Cast: Ashley Holmes, Colleen Ryan, David Spears, Fiona Leary, Hassan Halim, Jacksón Smith, Joel Larin, Kevin Seefried, M.J. Welch, Sanjana Raghavan

That’s So You

“That’s sooo you!” you exclaim excitedly to a friend twirling and showing off their new favorite dress. (It has pockets!) “That’s so… you,” you sneer at your work nemesis as they brag about a report where you did most of the work. (Your work spouse agrees that the comment was devastating) “THAT is so you!” you playfully argue with your partner when they try to deny their obvious resemblance to a meme with a puppy in it. (The puppy is hella cute and so are they.) One phrase, so many options for dramatic emphasis. Honoring the phrase, team “That’s So You” emphasizes their enthusiasm for fun and commitment to theatrical flair.

Cast: Chris Lewitzke, David Shadburn, Jason Re, Katie Munn, Lauren Gabel, Mark Benjamin, and Steve Karig

Mission Critical

Solving the world’s problems — one show at a time. With the critical help of audience members like you, Mission Critical is doing the vital work of satirizing the nonprofit industrial complex. The diverse missions of NGOs large and small are crucial in creating the world we want to live in and the world we want to leave to our children. This show bravely asks the question: “Is this really the best way to do this?” We’ll do an analysis and circle back with a mission statement and some best practices for capacity building within the sector! The cast is made up of performers who have all worked in the nonprofit sector and know of what they speak, so you know this is going to be fun!

Cast: Adam Levine, Anna Claire Walker, Anna Nelson, Bill Nelson, Brent Buxton, Grace Campion, Hilary Joel, John Carroll, Mark Chalfant, Matt Strote, Meghan Faulkner, Mikail Faalasli, Peter Jones, Stacey Pelika
