Washington Improv TheaterAs it turns out, doing improv did help improve Zhao's ability to make small talk. But only a bit.
After providing constructive criticism to (roasting) his roommate’s old standup material, his roommate suggested Zhao start trying it. A year and moving to DC later, Zhao took an improv class and liked it so much he just kept going.
In his private time, Zhao is just a big nerd who likes introvert time a little too much sometimes. He enjoys making impulse buys and baking things to make dumb posts on Instagram about.
