Washington Improv TheaterMercedes has over ten years of improv experience.
She has trained at Steel Beam Theater, Imagination Stage, Arcade Comedy Theater, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, People’s Improv Theatre, Magnet Theater, and Bird City Improv. Mercedes served as a DC Arts Writing Fellow for Day Eight and Literary Apprentice for the Shakespeare Theatre Company. Additionally, she is a graduate of the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center National Critics Institute.
Her favorite improv troupe is The Improvised Shakespeare Company despite the fact it’s all dudes. She will literally never turn down an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie and will always be a Midwestern girl at heart.
