Meera Kallupura
(she/her)
Washington Improv TheaterMeera Kallupura suffers from the same condition as Tinker Bell: dying without enough attention. Unlike the fictional character's experience, no one sympathizes when the victim is a grown-ass human woman.
Thankfully, Meera found improv, an art form that forces people to clap for her. She has spent too much time at WIT, having completed the full WIT curriculum and performing with an indie team composed of members she met in those very classes.
Outside of improv, Meera is loud as well. You can find her running late, phone dying, and happily holding a stranger’s baby (with permission). She is a loving friend, a terrible cook, and alternates between reading fiction and nonfiction. Her favorite places to be are in the sun, in a hug, or on the dancefloor, dancing like no one is watching. Please respect her privacy.
