Marianne Lalonde

Marianne Lalonde started improvising in Chicago in 2012 as a coping strategy for graduate school.

She has trained at iO, Second City, Annoyance Theater, and Chicago Improv Den. After finishing her Ph.D. in chemistry at Northwestern University, she relocated to D.C. for what her Midwestern friends call, “a cushy government job.”

Now both scientist and comedian, performing with Madeline has brought Marianne closer to her childhood dream of becoming Peter Venkman from Ghostbusters.
