Kunal Duggal

Kunal was never a theater kid, but decided to become a theater adult. Make of that what you will.

Kunal took one acting class in college his teacher said, “You’re terrible at remembering lines, but you have good comedic ability,” and that stuck with him. After he graduated, Kunal wanted to make friends in his new home of DC and thought improv would be a fun way to meet people. Kunal decided to take classes at WIT because it had the prettiest website. After five classes, two indie teams (Early Onset & The Real Winners), and many improv performances, Kunal is happy to report he did make friends.

Kunal also tried to make friends through running. Friendship led to many runs. Those runs only grew longer… 5Ks turned to 10Ks, then half marathons, and finally to a full marathon in Kunal’s hometown of Philadelphia. If Kunal isn’t running or improvising, he’s probably dabbling in other creative hobbies like filmmaking, poetry, latte art, or just hanging. Sometimes literally on a tree if it seems appropriately climbable.
