Amy Broadbent

Amy has been making up songs and parodies since she was a little kid, and is thrilled to continue onstage in her hometown of DC.

Amy received a Bachelor of Music in voice and Masters degree in conducting from the University of Maryland. She completed WIT’s five-course curriculum in 2023. Amy started playing piano for iMusical and Musical Conservatory in 2025, and plays for Rails Improv as well.

Amy has performed internationally as a classical vocal artist. She can be heard on the album recording of Scott Ordway’s “The Outer Edge of Youth” in which she created the role of Sebastian and was acclaimed by Opera News (Critic’s Choice), Gramophone, and BBC Music Magazine. She is a founding member of vocal quartet The Polyphonists. She is a conductor and soprano vocalist in the U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters, the official chorus of the U.S. Navy, and she also teaches private voice lessons.
