Make Space For Joy on March 1: WIT to Stage Back-to-Back Free Workshops
In a time of uncertainty, community and laughter can feed the soul. In partnership with Studio Theatre, Washington Improv Theater invites you to participate in a free Improv for All workshop to help provide catharsis and spark connections with new friends. Tap into your creativity and have some much-needed laughter.
We’re scheduling four back-to-back workshops at Studio Theater that are open to anyone and everyone who needs to find their joy. The day kicks off with a special session for parents to participate in with their kids (ages 8+). WIT’s free introductory workshops are high-fun, low-stress classes designed to show you how improvisers create spontaneous, off-the-cuff theater. Our enthusiastic and friendly instructors work to make sure everyone is able to participate in a playful and trusting atmosphere.

Washington Improv Theater offers Improv for All workshops year-round and in every Ward of DC. WIT also offers eight-week classes that attracts students from all walks of life in the DMV—no experience required.
