WIT ensemble Madeline to hold auditions
WIT House Ensemble Madeline will hold auditions for new cast members on Thursday, January 23; Thursday, January 30; and Saturday, February 1.
The deadline to sign up for auditions is 11:59 PM on Wednesday, January 15.
The ensemble seeks to add three players who (1) have successfully completed the improv training curriculum at WIT or another theater, and (2) have significant performance experience. The ensemble strongly encourages LGBTQ+ individuals, women, and people of color to audition. The team practices Thursdays at CentroNia (1420 Columbia Rd. NW) from 7:15 to 9:30 p.m. EDT.
Stylistically, Madeline’s players strive to create joyous performances featuring memorable characters and moments of poignancy. Their shows emphasize emotional range and commitment, as well as a playfully collaborative spirit.
