Improvapalooza 2022 Accepting Submissions Through July 5 at 11:59 PM

Improvapalooza is back, baby!

Running Aug. 22-28, Palooza is Washington Improv Theater’s annual festival featuring innovative new shows from hundreds of improvisers and created by students, teachers, newer improvisers, and seasoned veterans of the improv community alike.

We’re looking for new ideas, formats, and conventions—stuff we don’t see on stage every day. Fill out this form to submit your show ideas for consideration. The deadline to submit is Tuesday, July 5 at 11:59 PM.

Want to learn more about Palooza? Check out the Improvapalooza 2022 FAQ. This document provides information about anything and everything Palooza related, including information on what type of shows Palooza is looking for, how the schedule works, how to submit shows, etc.

Need help brainstorming an idea? Chat with a Palooza submissions mentor! We will be kicking things off with a ZoomaPalooza on Wednesday, June 22 at 7 PM. Register here to learn about past Palooza, hear insider advice on your submissions, and get your questions answered live. The Palooza mentors will also be holding office hours (find out more information here) and hosting the 8:30 PM jam on Tuesday, June 21 after Harold Night.

If you read the FAQ and still have burning questions, shoot us an email at palooza@witdc.org.

Reminder: Show submissions are due at 11:59 PM ET on Tuesday, July 5. For real. Like, after that is too late. Don’t test us.
