Harold teams are currently programmed on a cycle of approximately six months. These auditions are for people wishing to join existing and new teams that will rehearse and perform during the cycle from early October 2025 to the end of March or early April 2026.

All auditions will take place at Studio Theatre (1501 14th St. NW).

AUDITIONS:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 2 from 7 to 9 PM
  • Wednesday, Sept. 3 from 7 to 9 PM
  • Thursday, Sept. 4 from 7 to 9 PM
  • Saturday, Sept. 6 from 11 AM to 12 PM and 2 to 5 PM
  • Sunday, Sept. 7 from 4 to 6 PM

Please note: We will consolidate auditions into as few days as possible, which means not all of the audition windows that are listed above will be used. Please give as much availability as you can! We plan to share the audition schedule on Friday, Aug. 29.

THE SIGN-UP DEADLINE IS THURSDAY, AUG. 28 at 11:59 PM!

Please review the frequently asked questions regarding Harold auditions HERE on WIT’s website before signing up. You should also review our mission and expectations document, which includes important attendance requirements, HERE.

We will try to include as many people as possible in the auditions, but space may be limited.

In the auditions, we’re looking for players to demonstrate these skills:

  • Make clear choices
  • Making agreeable, playful choices (i.e. “Yes, and!”)
  • Keep one’s point-of-view or “deal”
  • Have honest reactions
  • Play with emotional believability and depth
  • Make moves that support other players
  • Share focus (i.e. give and take)
