WIT shows are perfect for a date night, out-of-town visitors, or simply something new and spontaneous to do. All for just $20.

For more than 25 years, our hilarious, experienced improvisers have taken a simple suggestion or story from an audience member and turned it into never-before-seen comedy. And because every performance is made-up on-the-spot, no two shows are ever the same, so you can keep coming back for more! Our homegrown talent has gone on to “SNL,” “The Daily Show,” HBO’s “Insecure” and “The White Lotus,” Hulu’s “How to Die Alone,” and more!

ABOUT ASK ME ANYTHING

From fearless advocates to visionary leaders, join us as we shine our spotlight on a series of noteworthy and inspiring individuals, who are making a difference in the DC area and beyond. Each guest will share stories and insights through a candid Q&A session. From there, a cast of improv comedians will use that material as inspiration for their performance.

We are an all-Black troupe that brings our own experiences in formal settings to the stage in order to craft a hilarious and eye-opening experience!

This all-Black group includes some of the most experienced improvisers in DC and is well-established as one of the funniest indie teams in the DMV. They specialize in unpacking your emotional baggage in front of a live audience!

ABOUT FIST ‘24 WINNERS KINFOLK

Grand rising beloved. Your skinfolk ain’t always your kinfolk, but this time, we got lucky. Kinfolk rests at the nexus of when “you people” become “your people.” A mason-dixon line of interpersonal connection, but also not that at all. Are you excited to see your sister-cousin at this year’s family reunion? Who made this mac and cheese? Does your friend-group make you question your/their sanity, but you kinda love it? Why can’t your teammates stay out of drama? Nobody knows your people like you do, except maybe Kinfolk. These 2024 FIST champions ask the audience to share about the folks they belong to, then bring them to life on stage for your enjoyment.
