The Queer Variety Cavalcade Presents

QVC returns with their big-hearted, sexy, and sassy show that includes improv, burleque, cabaret, drag, music, and other performance genres.

ABOUT WIT

WIT shows are perfect for a date night, out-of-town visitors, or simply something new and spontaneous to do. All for just $20.

For more than 25 years, our hilarious, experienced improvisers have taken a simple suggestion or story from an audience member and turned it into never-before-seen comedy. And because every performance is made-up on-the-spot, no two shows are ever the same, so you can keep coming back for more! Our homegrown talent has gone on to “SNL,” “The Daily Show,” HBO’s “Insecure” and “The White Lotus,” Hulu’s “How to Die Alone,” and more!

ABOUT THE QUEER VARIETY CAVALCADE

Hosted by Kevin Eggleston (aka Birdie) and Bill Nelson (aka Butchie), QVC takes us on a delightful romp through a variety of performance genres. Each show includes special guests from the DC area’s LGBTQ+ community. The show is a celebration of Queer talent by Queer performers for Queer audiences (and allies!!) It’s been described as “unlike anything, anywhere” and it’s true! Each QVC has its own theme and more details about this show ‘s special guests will be announced soon. The QVC Players (a group of experienced WIT improvisers) perform at each show.

Please note that this show is best-suited for people ages 18 and up.

QVC is made possible thanks to the generous support of the DC Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs.
