Get Tickets Now!QVC returns with their big-hearted, sexy, and sassy show that includes improv, burleque, cabaret, drag, music, and other performance genres.
WIT shows are perfect for a date night, out-of-town visitors, or simply something new and spontaneous to do. All for just $20.
For more than 25 years, our hilarious, experienced improvisers have taken a simple suggestion or story from an audience member and turned it into never-before-seen comedy. And because every performance is made-up on-the-spot, no two shows are ever the same, so you can keep coming back for more! Our homegrown talent has gone on to “SNL,” “The Daily Show,” HBO’s “Insecure” and “The White Lotus,” Hulu’s “How to Die Alone,” and more!
ABOUT THE QUEER VARIETY CAVALCADE (QVC)
The Queer Variety Cavalcade is made possible thanks to the generous support of the DC Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs.
Hosted by Kevin Eggleston (aka Birdie) and Bill Nelson (aka Butchie), QVC takes us on a delightful romp through a variety of performance genres. Each show includes special guests from the DC area’s LGBTQ+ community.
The show is a celebration of Queer talent by Queer performers for Queer audiences (and allies!!) It’s been described as “unlike anything, anywhere” and it’s true! Each has its own theme and new guests.
FEBRUARY 2025 THEME
SCANDAL! RUMOR! HEADLINE! Have they split? Is it the brave last days of Birdie and Butchie? Sources close to the fame-obsessed pair say tensions are high and one-upping affairs are legion — and yet, on February 15, the show must go on!
ARTIST
Hurry on down to Studio Theater for QVC’s SCANDAL! where the feuding co-hosts will swallow their pride and present performances by the breakthrough and gender non-conforming 2023 DC Artist of the Year Brooke N Hymen, who presents a “caricature of womanhood that is meant to satirize and celebrate.”
INFLUENCER
We’ll also hear the latest scuttlebutt from the digital creator and influencer Bri Battle of @QueerTalkDC and enjoy a salacious improv set from the QVC Players. More shocking developments to come!
Cast: Kevin Eggleston, Bill Nelson, and the QVC Players (Amber Bellsdale, Carlic Hyungh, Diego Hernandez, Hannah Piper, Lauren Gabel, Patrick Hsieh, Peter Jones, Hannah Piper, Renan Snowden, and others.)
Please note that this show is best-suited for people ages 18 and up because of its mature subject matter.
