The Improvised Table Read + iMusical

Let DC’s funniest improvisers give you a break from reality with their smart, surprising, and totally unscripted comedy!

The Improvised Table Read

The Improvised Table Read brings together a talented cast of actors to bring the written word to life! At least, we think it’s written down. Also, can anyone suggest a cool title for the show? We don’t have one yet…

Cast: Alex Kazanas, Geoff Corey, Henry Ring, Jamal Newman, Joe Randazzo, John Carroll, Jonathan Murphy, Jordana Mishory, Liz Sanders, Meredith Garagiola, and special guest stars

iMusical

iMusical is WIT’s longest-running ensemble. Their talented, singer-improviser cast members combine the unpredictable playfulness of improv comedy with the emotional power of musical theater to create heart-soaring and hilarious scenes worthy of any scripted musical. Everything — from the lyrics to the notes the accompanist plays — is made up on-the-spot. It’s so good, you’ll leave feeling like you’ve been whisked away on a joyful little escape!!

The Washington Post calls iMusical “spot on” and the cast has performed to standing ovations in multiple comedy festivals including ones in Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York as well as at venues across the DC area.

Cast: Adrianne Thomas, Anna Claire Walker, Arie Rich, Cassie Barnum, Catherine Deadman, Katie O’Donnell, Mark Chalfant, Matt Berman, Patrick Hsieh, Ryan Campbell, and Simone Webster.

Accompanist: Michael O’Connor
