BENEFIT SHOW: Ross Bryant & Friends (proceeds support SMYAL)

Ross Bryant (Dropout, Improvised Shakespeare Co.) is joined by an elite team of improvisers for a one-night-only improvisational performance that just might save Christmas… nay, THE WORLD.

Special Opening Act: Queerfolk! Queerfolk is an improv trio featuring the three queer members of the legendary 2024 FIST Champion Team Kinfolk, who feel like family.

All proceeds go to support SMYAL DC. SMYAL supports and empowers LGBTQ+ youth. They actively work to create a world where queer and trans youth thrive through affirming programs and services designed to develop critical life skills, build community, and foster a sense of belonging.

Ross Bryant is an LA-based writer/performer known for his work on Dropout TV, The Improvised Shakespeare Company and The Glass Cannon Network. Ross is an alumnus of the Second City Mainstage in Chicago. He can be seen performing regularly in LA at Upright Citizens Brigade and the Largo. TV credits include The Good Place (NBC), Crashing (HBO), and I Think You Should Leave (Netflix). He is the host of the horror/comedy/improv podcast, Push the Roll with Ross Bryant.

Brendan Dowling is an actor and writer whose recent credits include writing for and appearing in Showtime’s Work in Progress. Stage credits include Baby Wants Candy, The Second City National Touring Company, and The Second City Denver’s How I Lost My Denverginity. Film credits include It’s All Good and the award-winning short Curtains. Follow along at @berndandooling.

Joey Bland is a Los Angeles–based writer/performer who hails from Virginia. He is a member of The Improvised Shakespeare Company and  the host of Like Minds, a comedy quiz show podcast. Joey spent many years in Chicago where he performed with ComedySportz, the iO Theater, and The Second City. For two years, Bland traveled the world with The Second City Touring Company, and in 2009, he played the title role in The Second City’s hit original musical Rod Blagojevich, Superstar. Television credits include Game Changer (DropOutTV), Um, Actually (DropOutTV), Teachers (TV Land), and Forever (Amazon Prime). Bland is also a two-time Jeopardy champion.

Randall Harr is an actor and improvisor based in Los Angeles, California. He is a member of The Improvised Shakespeare Company and has performed and improvised at the iO, Annoyance, and Second City theatres in Chicago. Harr also spent two years in Amsterdam performing at the BOOM CHICAGO comedy theatre. Some of Harr’s Second City credits include American Mixed Tape (Garner Galleria Theatre Denver); Sex and the Second City (National Tour); Rod Blagojevich Super Star (Chicago Shakespeare Theater); Peach, Drop, Stop and Roll (Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre); #DateMe (UP Comedy Club); and Louder! Longer! Wagner! (Chicago Lyric Opera).
