In the tradition of Frankie & Annette, Cher & Christina, and Psycho Beach Party's Charles Busch--The Queer Variety Cavalcade (QVC) Burlesque Beach Bash will ask the question: how does one striptease when one is nearly naked already?
The answer: with a queer new wave of DMV performers, from drag musical comedian Olive Ghardon, to a piscine surprise from Karla’s Queen, and a special appearance from the pioneering Black Deaf Trans Femme Burlesque legend Alluorra Rosé herself! Hosted by QVC stalwarts Birdie & Butchie, with ASL accessibility & improv from the QVC Players, this June 28 QVC on the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall rebellion is gonna to *break* some *rules*.
Tickets to Friday night shows are All Access Passes. Ticketholders to tonight’s 7:30 PM show may return for the 9:30 PM show: Queer Variety Cavalcade. The theater will be closed between performances but you may visit the concessions stand between shows.
