Limerence

Your delightfully delulu friends want to know the latest thing, person, place, object, concept you are obsessed with. Limerence is the state of being in a one-sided, all consuming infatuation that veers towards obsession. We’ve all dipped our toe in this swirl of emotion! We will weave your latest obsessions into a delightfully zany show!

That’s So You

“That’s sooo you!” You exclaim excitedly to a friend twirling and showing off their new favorite dress. (It has pockets!) “That’s so… you.” You sneer at your work nemesis as they brag about a report where you did most of the work. (Your work spouse agrees, the comment was devastating) “THAT is so you!” You playfully argue with your partner when they try to deny their obvious resemblance to a meme with a puppy in it. (The puppy is hella cute and so are they.) One phrase, so many options for dramatic emphasis. Honoring the phrase, team “That’s So You” emphasizes their enthusiasm for fun and commitment to theatrical flair.

Broken Bones

The Broken Bones presents ‘Injury Into Comedy’. We’ve all been hurt, perhaps by a hidden patch of ice, a sick collision while scoring the winning goal, or a very public breakup at your 28th birthday party. The Broken Bones will interview an audience member about an injury—be it physical, emotional, or other—and we will all heal together through comedy. The cast has some of DC’s funniest improvisers who have been featured by Comedy Central, The Washington Post, NPR, as well as comedy festivals around the US and Europe.
