Ask Me Anything featuring Franc O’Malley (Democracy Practitioner; Formerly of USAID)

Celebrate Pride with a joyous night of laughter at Washington Improv Theater!

About Ask Me Anything:

From fearless advocates to visionary leaders, join us as we shine our spotlight on a series of noteworthy and inspiring individuals from the LGBTQ+ community. Each guest will share stories and insights during a candid Q&A with a cast member. From there, the witty improvisers of the Queer Variety Players will use that material as inspiration for their performance. The indie improv troupe Sapphic Supper will open the show.

Special Guest Franc O’Malley

Franc is a self-described “unemployed Democracy Practitioner,” who grew up in northeast Pennsylvania (good ol’ Scranton) but has called DC home for the past 25 years. Formerly with a small political transition office in USAID, Franc now spends most of his free time laughing/crying over internet memes, protesting and pushing back against Project 2025’s masterminds (their term, not his), toasting to plantations burning down, and watching apocalypse movies for pointers. He lives in the charming northeast DC neighborhood of  Brookland with his husband and elderly cat.
