Have old poems, songs or diary entries so cringe THAT THEY MUST BE READ TO A ROOM FULL OF STRANGERS?! Bring it to I Wrote That! If your name is picked from the bag you’ll have the opportunity to read your 2- to 3-minute piece aloud — and then watch some of DC’s best improvisers use it as inspiration for an improv scene! Think The Moth meets SNL meets that relief of being old enough to laugh at your younger emotional selves.

The Broken Bones Presents: Injury Into Comedy

The Broken Bones presents ‘Injury Into Comedy’. We’ve all been hurt, perhaps by a hidden patch of ice, a sick collision while scoring the winning goal, or a very public breakup at your 28th birthday party. The Broken Bones will interview an audience member about an injury—be it physical, emotional, or other—and we will all heal together through comedy. The cast has some of DC’s funniest improvisers who have been featured by Comedy Central, The Washington Post, NPR, as well as comedy festivals around the US and Europe.
